Travel and Travel Health Insurance

Travel Health Insurance is designed to cover medical costs with additional benefits when traveling outside of the United States. There are several items that are included in the coverage that are not included in most US based health insurance plans.

For those enrolled in Medicare, it may be a very important option to obtain this coverage. Other than in very limited situations there is no coverage outside of the US and some territories under Medicare. There may be a limited benefit under supplement plans.

There is also a policy that will cover the "cost of trip" option including some medical coverage.
