Medicare

For those who are age 65 or older, or those under age 65 with certain medical conditions, which gives them access to Social Security disability, Medicare is available.

My function is to guide you regarding enrollment in Medicare, and help you decide and enroll in Insurance plans furnished by insurance carriers.  There are several options to consider for yourself and eligible partners or spouse.

Many times, newly eligible 65 year-olds are overwhelmed with mail and contact from insurance brokers and insurance carriers.   I help clarify and guide my clients with the available options and costs.  I suggest meeting or speaking with me and then reading all that you wish to read.

We would review:

Original Medicare - Part A and Part B, which is furnished by the government, their costs, and how to enroll. Generally, you may enroll 90 days before your effective date. Those receiving Social Security retirement benefits are usually automatically enrolled.

Medicare supplements - additional coverage to part A and B furnished by an insurance carrier.

Part D - Designed by Medicare and furnished by an insurance carrier to cover outpatient prescription drugs.

Medicare Advantage plans, also called Part D or a Medicare plan, which may or may not include Part D coverage. These are obtained from insurance carriers.  Eligibility is generally based on where you reside.

Please contact me to set up a time to review.
